Welcome new members!!!

New edition of Southwest Brewing News handed out.
Read it.  Learn it.  Live it.

Treasurer report phoned in.  $1500 in the account.  So
we are now trying to devise ways to spend it!

Raffle items-Book-"Hop Union", Johnnie Walker Red,
bottle of BEST iodophor, and a Wine Thief.  People
won these items and were happy.

Heiner Brau Brew off was a success.  Brewing ideas
were exchanged.  Many thanks to Heiner Brau and Henryk
for sponsoring the event!

Heiner Brau would like to have a X-mas Brew Off with
German purity laws followed.  Casey will send emails
as information is gained.

October brew competition will be discussed next month.
 Please think about  what style we will compete in a
very friendly, and informal setting just for fun.

Welcome new due-paying members Jason Kuczek,  Katerina
and Johnathon Hanson!

WYES, June 7th.  Casey will send information on that
event as things develop, but he needs to know 1st week
of May what you are going to brew for it.

June and August meetings will be at Palmetto's in
Slidell.  The Slidellians have spoken.  No whining.

It was proposed to have occasional weekend meetings,
with a trial Saturday meeting in September.  It was
approved for the third Saturday in September at
Anthony's house.  364 Tallow Creek Blvd., Covington.
I thought I heard him say that he would supply
ladyfinger sandwiches and cocktail wienies for
everyone?

Show and Tell- Consider infrared/laser thermometers to
check temps to reduce contamination!

Shirts are going to be ordered by Friday of next week.

Finally it was voted that 12 hats and 12 shirts will
be bought for selling in WYES and Pensacola.  Any
extra will be raffled off at a future meeting.

NEXT MONTH'S MEETING- Abita Brewpub on Thursday, May
