Old Business

Larry discussed the details of the Big Easy Brew Off. Once again, all enjoyed a good time. Lunch was great! We had garlic soup and po-boys. Our compliments to the chef.

Jack told everyone about the tour of the Dixie Brewery. Kevin gave a great tour.  Comments were made about the brewery being “very primitive.”

Larry informed everyone that there was a slight mix up with the T-shirt orders. They have been reordered.

Elvis was accepting entries for The Crescent City Competition. The deadline was April 2.

Jack also discussed the upcoming May 15th Brew Off at Zea’s. Patrick would like to raise $2000.00 with this event to benefit those afflicted with Rett Syndrome.

New Business

The club will be sponsoring a crawfish boil on May 22nd. Jason will host the boil at the Quail Creek subdivision clubhouse.

WYES Beer Tasting will be June 5th. Jack asked if anyone would be willing to donate 5 gallons. We would like to have at least 15-20 gallons from our club.

Elvis shared some noteworthy news. It seems Martin Wine Cellar will be coming out with a good line of Belgian Beer.

Jim showed us his new MKOB hat. If anyone else is interested the hat was purchased at Lakeside Mall for $21.00
