Secretary’s Report

  Our secretary read the minutes from the June meeting at Abita Brew Pub.

Treasurer’s Report

  Calvin, our treasurer, reported that we have $2136.32 in our club account.

Old Business

  Jack announced that the beer tasting hosted by Zapps Chips is a definite and will be held in Baton Rouge on October 16^th 2004.

  Craig made a motion for the club to cover the cost of the grain bill at a limit of $30.00. Jim seconded the motion and a unanimous vote was recorded.

  Larry will be putting in a T-shirt order on Friday July 23^rd. T-shirts can be ordered in teal. Contact Larry if anyone is interested. Larry has ordered beer tasting glasses for new members in good standing. Any extra glasses can be sold for $3.50.

New Business

  Calvin made a motion for club funds to cover the cost of our new website. A second to the motion was made and a unanimous vote was recorded.

Jack announced that the Emerald coast beer Olympics would be held September 10^th an 11^th, 2004. Tickets will be $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. There will be a block of rooms held until August 1^st. Larry will send a link to the website containing all the details.

  Wallace asked that anyone wanting to ride the bus to the event would have to give him a commitment.
